BLUEMOON was recruited to help promote LG's new Renoir 8-megapixel camera phone in conjunction with a top Hollywood movie campaign. This project won a BAFTA Scotland New Talent Award in 2009.


BLUEMOON's association with LG began with a worldwide online promotional campaign for the LG Renoir mobile phone, in conjunction with the 2008 blockbuster sci-fi movie, The Day the Earth Stood Still.
The campaign included the creation of exclusive global brand guidelines for the creative promotion, which graphically-incorporated the Renoir mobile model into a wide-range of POS material for the movie itself. To make the website more appealing to consumers, an involving interactive game was introduced, linked to various exclusives, such as movie downloads and prizes.
Bluemoon also commissioned Edinburgh-based company Running Productions to work on www.mission1212.com, another part of the pan-European digital marketing campaign for The Day the Earth Stood Still. This project won a BAFTA Scotland New Talent Award in 2009.
